Life on the Farm: Raising Kids and Writing Novels

Hi everyone! I'm Jessie Gussman, and I specialize in writing love stories. Some may have the misconception that a writer's life, especially a romance writer's, is glamorous. However, this box set collection of my books aims to dispel that notion.

I am honored to be a USA Today bestselling author, a title that surprises me as much as it may surprise anyone else. In addition to writing, my husband and I run a trucking company, manage two free-range laying houses with twenty thousand birds each (you might even find our eggs in your local grocery store!), raise grass-fed beef cattle, homeschool our children, and have a close relationship with the Game Warden and state police (mostly due to the kids, not my husband).

My daily life involves cooking for strangers, occasionally seeking solace away from my family, and owning an excessive amount of fire extinguishers for good reason. Sometimes, instead of working on my latest romance novel, I write about my everyday experiences. These stories can be fun, funny, heartwarming, or simply offer a glimpse into the life of a farmer who grows a bit older and wiser with each passing day.
